(I) Upon Receipt of Travel Voucher: 20% of the total cost.
(II) Not Less Than Six Weeks Before Departure: 100% of the total cost.

  • Payments are required within seven days, except for instant bookings, where immediate payment is taken by credit/debit card.

  • Suppliers may impose stricter payment terms for certain bookings. These instances will always be communicated before confirmation and stated on your travel voucher. Individual cancellation terms will also be clearly specified.

Cancellation by Green Elephant Tours:

Green Elephant Tours is committed to professionalism and safeguarding your booking. However, we reserve the right to cancel in cases of force majeure (see clause below). In such an event, we will refund all payments received and, where possible, offer an alternative booking of comparable quality. We cannot be held liable for incidental expenses incurred in preparation for a cancelled booking.

Cancellation by You:

In the event of cancellation (in whole or part), we voluntarily refund all recoverable costs beyond the limits outlined in our booking conditions.

Itinerary Changes by Green Elephant Tours:

We strive to maintain your original itinerary, but unavoidable circumstances may require adjustments. Any changes will align with the spirit of your trip and will be discussed with you. If exceptional situations (e.g., hotel overbooking) necessitate an emergency accommodation change, we will refund the price difference if the replacement is cheaper and cover additional transfer costs.

All details you provide must be accurate and truthful. We treat your information confidentially and do not share it with third parties. We adhere to a strict anti-fraud policy and take responsible measures to secure sensitive data, such as payment details.

We endeavor to ensure all provided information is error-free and will correct any notified inaccuracies. However, we cannot be held responsible for unforeseeable misinformation. While we strive for accuracy, occasional local disruptions (e.g., maintenance, closures) may affect advertised facilities. We moderate user-generated content to comply with applicable laws but do not endorse third-party comments.

Customer Care & Complaints Procedure:

Complaints should first be raised with the service provider (e.g., hotel), our local representative, or ground agents. If unresolved, notify Green Elephant Tours within 24 hours via email/fax for further mediation. Failure to follow this procedure may affect liability or compensation claims.

Independent Travel:

For partially booked itineraries, Green Elephant Tours is not responsible for components outside our direct control, such as difficulties locating accommodations or collecting pre-booked transport tickets if you arrange your own travel.

Insurance:

All travelers must have valid travel insurance, with policy details provided before departure. Ensure coverage is suitable for your trip type.

Personal Loss, Injury, or Illness (Unrelated to Our Arrangements):

In cases of loss (e.g., baggage), illness, injury, or death during your trip, we or our representatives will offer guidance—however, claims must be handled through your personal travel insurance.

Price Guarantee:

Your holiday price will not incur surcharges except for increases due to (I) flight levies or (II) government policy changes. Exchange rate fluctuations do not affect pricing.

Representatives:

Support is primarily provided by your chauffeur-guide (if booked with us). Additional assistance is available from our Colombo-based team (or Delhi for India tours). We do not provide holiday reps.

Shopping:

Green Elephant Tours does not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for the value or quality of any products not explicitly listed on your travel voucher—even if discussed with our staff.
